The Igbo is one of the three major ethnic groups Combat Shooter System that make up Nigeria. They are found in the Eastern part of the country. But in reality they have settlements all over the world. They are found in all the occupations known to man. They are easily identifiable anywhere they are because of their high acumen in trading, technology and science.

More so, the major occupation of the Igbo in the pre-independence era was farming, hunting and trading. This gradually extended into technical and creative activities. This technicality of the Igbo in the early days of Nigeria was seen by men of these days and even present days as the genesis of modem and, indigenous technology in Nigeria. In other words, before the rest of Nigerians knew what was modem and indigenous technology, the Igbo had gradually and systematically started practicing it, though in an ancient or crude form.

In the post-independence time, the Igbo have enshrined substantial sophistication in their technical products. This why any locally manufactured product in Nigeria today is being referred to as "Igbo Made", even when those things were not really made by the Igbo. What that is telling us in essence, is that, though the products were not actually produced by an Igbo person directly, but the technology and wisdom behind those products came from Igboland.
