-Template - you have a choice of horizontal or default.  Default is a vertical menu and is good for beginners with FusionPBX as it shows all the menu options all the time, but you may have to scroll down to see them all.  Horizontal is a more traditional drop down menu structure and many experienced users of FusionPBX prefer this layout.

Everything except template appears to be entirely optional and doesn't affect the operation of FusionPBX.

Menu: (System-Account Settings)

The account settings tab has fields for the following information: 

User Info
-Username	
-Password	
-Confirm Password
-First Name
-Last Name	
-Company Name

In this section you can reset the password on the account. First Name and Last Name are good practise. Company Name is probably only relevant in a multi-tennant situation. 

Physical Address
-Address 1
-Address 2
-City
-State/Province
-Country
-Postal Code

This is all optional information and doesn't affect the operation of FusionPBX.
